OUR SERVICES IN THE WESTERN CAPE

Which assessments are legally required on our site?
It depends on the hazards present. The Occupational Health and Safety Act and its regulations require exposure risk assessments, usually repeated at intervals not exceeding two years, for noise, hazardous chemical agents, lead, asbestos, physical agents such as heat, cold, vibration and lighting, ergonomics and biological agents. Our free Compliance Gap Analysis checklist shows what applies to you.

Are your reports accepted by the Department of Employment and Labour?
Yes. Qualitas is a DEL Approved Inspection Authority and SANAS-accredited inspection body for asbestos, lead, noise and hazardous chemical agents, so our reports meet the requirement for monitoring by an approved inspection authority.
